Quick and easy salad dressings
A great dressing makes even plain salads tasty and delicious. These dressings are some of my favourites.
Instructions:
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.
For a more healthy dressing, add 1 tbsp
of soy lecithin granules to these dressings
Flax and lemon dressing
•flax oil – 2 tbsp
•lemon juice – 2 tbsp
•maple syrup or honey – 1 tbsp
•water – 1 tbsp
•cayenne pepper – a pinch
•sea salt – a pinch
Olive and balsamic dressing
•olive oil – 2 tbsp
•balsamic vinegar – 2 tbsp
•water – 1 tbsp
•dried basil (1 tsp) or use fresh basil
•cayenne pepper – a pinch
•sea salt – a pinch
Dijon orange yogurt dressing
•sunflower oil – 1 tbsp
•plain yogurt – 1/2 cup
•orange juice – from 1/2 an orange
•course dijon mustard – 1 tbsp
•honey – 1 tsp
•salt and pepper – pinch of each
